Fly tying can not be easier than this. But still so effective pattern when the swimming pupas are on the river.
There known many different imitations of swimming pupa, but this is probably the simplest, and easiest way to tie.

Hook : Ahrex FW524 Superdry #12
Thread : Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread 12/0, Black
Body : Semperfli Foam, Black
Collar : Cdc, Dark Grey
Cut out the foam. Think about this, the foam should not protrude further behind the hook, than the length of the hook gap. When you attach the foam to the hook, remember to tighten properly. You can also turn the fly around and use UV glue or superglue in the foam attachment.
When tying inn the cdc don`t overdress it, it should be sparse dressed. Just to indicate some legs
