Spent Spinners often appear from the beginning of July and through the summer. When the mayflies have finished mating, they have done their duty and falls dead in the river. This can give very good fishing.

Under Body : Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread 8/0, Fluoro Red
Body : Semperfli Perfect Quills
Wing : Sparkle Organza, White
Upper Wing : Cdc, White
Thorax : Superfine Dubbing, Claret
It is easiest (I believe) to attach the fibetts, and then build up the body before tying on the wing, but this is up to you and what you like. The small white cdc feathers as upperwing, will help the fly floating, and it will be more easy to see the fly in the river
